Beginner Cupcake Class
This class is perfect for anyone with no baking experience but who want to learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes the professional way from scratch. It is also a very good class for bakers who wish to refresh their minds on the basics.
No need to bring a thing. Everything you need to make fantastic cakes will be supplied. You may want to bring a pad and pen to note down any tips or secrets that I may let slip!
This class is fun, informative and supportive. I like to think that I make my students feel at ease and encouraged at every step, giving assistance where needed and space when not. My aim is for you to go home feeling confident in making beautiful cupcakes.

- mix your cake batter correctly to achieve delicious level cupcakes
- fill your cupcake cases to ensure a level cupcake every time
- know when your cupcakes are baked
- mix buttercream correctly
- fill your cupcakes with a yummy filling
- colour sugarpaste properly
- cover cupcakes with sugarpaste
- make basic sugar decorations
- pipe onto cupcakes using different nozzles for different effects
- decorate the cupcakes using your handmade decorations
- display them correctly in a presentation box
